The regional Finals of the AgriHack competition will be held in Suriname, in the framework of the Caribbean Week of Agriculture organised by the Secretariat of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and Caribbean Ministries in charge of Agriculture early October 2014 in Suriname.
The event is organised by the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (), in collaboration with different partners.
The Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI), and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA).

Other partners of the Agri-Hack Talent Caribbean are: ConnectiMass, the Caribbean Open Institute and Microsoft.

The hubs/partners selected are: the Community Hub Corporation (Trinidad and Tobago), Slashroots Foundation (Jamaica), Create Caribbean (Dominica), (St Kitts), National Council for Science and Technology (Barbados), Software Engineering Lab, Department of Computing, UWI (Jamaica), Telesur Multimedia Innovation Laboratory (Suriname) and (Trinidad and Tobago). These institutions are charged with staging national hackathons or competitive coding selection events. The winning teams from the national events will move on to the regional finals that will be held during the Caribbean Week of Agriculture (CWA) to be held in Suriname from 6 – 12 October 2014. An incubation process will follow for winners to fine-tune their products and favour actual roll-out.
